Last night, Housekeep and our CEO & Founder Avin Rabheru MBE, took home the London Established Business of the Year award at the 2025 Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA).
Dubbed as the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship,” the GBEA recognises the UK’s most exceptional business stories and leaders that have not only navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship, but have thrived. Winning the Established Business of the Year category is a huge testament to Housekeep’s journey, impact, and continued growth.
Over the last 11 years, Housekeep has grown from just one cleaner to market leader in the £5bn home cleaning market - delivering more than 2 million weekly & fortnightly cleans and maintaining a 4.9* rating across London, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton.
And Housekeep isn’t stopping there. Having mopped up in the home cleaning industry, Housekeep is now rapidly expanding into the £40bn tradesperson market, offering electricians, handymen, plumbers, gardeners and more at the click of a button - all part of their mission to be the ‘one-stop shop’ for all home services.
This award also marks another milestone in Avin’s impressive GBEA track record. Avin has previously been recognised as the regional 2024 Technology Entrepreneur of the Year and the regional and national Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019.
It was great to toast Housekeep's win while rubbing shoulders with some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs out there at last night's ceremony in London 🥂
We're at the peak of award season, so stay tuned for more award updates!
