Housekeep welcomes Tora Brooks as new Head of Growth

We’re excited to welcome Tora Brooks to Housekeep as our new Head of Growth.

Tora brings over seven years of experience building and scaling startups. Her recent roles include positions at Muddy Trowel, a direct-to-consumer business focused on modernising the traditional gardening sector with curated plant kits and online delivery. Tora joined shortly after the company’s seed round to help establish a scalable operational model. She later became Head of Commercial, where she focused on driving growth and worked with the team to launch new customer offerings, including an online garden design service.

Prior to this, Tora joined data-collection platform Shepper as their first employee, playing a pivotal role in growing the business from pre-revenue to a multi-million-pound operation with a network of over 100,000 agents. She led partnerships with major consumer brands and even secured the company’s first £1m+ account.

Tora’s background couldn’t be better suited to Housekeep’s next chapter, as they expand beyond cleaning into the £40bn tradesperson market. As Head of Growth, Tora will be leading the charge in scaling Housekeep’s Gardening vertical and other tradesperson services, including handymen, plumbers, electricians, and more.

Tora said: “Housekeep has already built the UK’s leading platform for home cleaning, delivering an exceptional experience for both customers and Housekeepers. I’m thrilled to be joining the team, and particularly excited to work with our New Services squad to mirror this success in new verticals. There’s a huge opportunity to bring the same level of quality, reliability, and innovation to markets like Gardening and Tradespeople, and with the brilliant team at Housekeep, I’ve no doubt we can build something truly special.”

Housekeep Founder and CEO Avin Rabheru said: “I'm delighted to welcome Tora Brooks to Housekeep as Head of Growth. I’ve known Tora for many years and have always been impressed by her curiosity, ability and energy. She’s joining us to turbocharge our 100% year-on-year growth in the £40 billion tradespeople market – taking us beyond cleaning into gardening, handymen, plumbers, electricians and more – as we build the UK’s one-stop-shop for home services.”
